About this scholarship
CEW has partnered with Chemistry Australia to offer one woman working in the chemistry industry the opportunity to undertake the Women Transforming Leadership Programme at Oxford Saïd Business School.
Applications are open to women employed by Chemistry Australia member companies and their supply chain partners, and to candidates from the chemistry industry nationally.
The Australian chemistry industry comprises a diverse range of businesses that manufacture and/or supply chemicals, plastics raw materials and products, and services. This includes adhesives and sealants, agricultural chemicals, environmental and water treatment chemicals, explosives and mining chemicals, fertilizers, food and beverage ingredients, gas processing chemicals, industrial and medical gases, natural rubber products, paints and coatings, personal care and hygiene products, pharmaceutical ingredients, polymers and synthetic resins, pulp and paper processing chemicals, silicones, and more.
Who should apply?
To be eligible, you must meet all of the following criteria.

Currently working in the Australian chemistry industry

Senior manager or executive (CEO, or no more than four levels below CEO)

5 to 10 years of senior leadership experience including P&L management, strategic planning, and people leadership

Endorsed by the Executive or Board of your organisation

Australian citizen or resident

Your commitments
- Attend and complete the full Women Transforming Leadership Programme (8–12 March 2027)
- Complete the course within 12 months of award (by 30 November 2027)
- Write a report on your scholarship experience
- Be available to speak at CEW events if requested
About the program
The Women Transforming Leadership Programme at Oxford Saïd Business School is a 5-day short course designed for senior women ready to expand their leadership influence.
Participants work alongside an international cohort, exploring leadership identity, strategic influence, and sustainable impact. The 2027 cohort runs 8–12 March 2027.
